The most remarkable thing about my mother is that for thirty years she served the family nothing but leftovers. The original meal has never been found.Calvin Trillin
After hard work and many trials we are now excited to present you our Naruto Series. Our goal was to create a beautiful as well as high performing and budget friendly series of knives, which are very sharp, light weight and also easy to sharpen. That is why this series is hand-forged only by very experienced blacksmiths, who created a new standard of craftsmanship.
For this knife a three-layer composite steel is used which is shaped by hand before being heat treated using the traditional techniques of master blacksmiths. It is a repeated manual forging and quenching process, which results in a hardness of 58±2 HRC, thus creating the conditions for extreme knife sharpness. The elaborate forging process is finished with hammer blows for optical reasons and a hand sharpening of the blade.
The non-slip octagonal handle is crafted from rosewood and is ergonomically designed so you can have long cooking sessions without feeling exhausted afterwards.
Nakiri - that's what they call a vegetable slicer in Japan. And as the name suggests, the traditional Japanese knife is ideal for chopping vegetables and herbs. Its shape is reminiscent of a cleaver, but should not be confused with it. With our noble Naruto Nakiri knife, far Eastern aesthetics and tradition enter your kitchen.
All in all this knife is a beautiful piece of handmade art, so make sure you clean and dry the knife immediately after usage to ensure it lasting for a lifetime!
